3D Printed Linear Actuator
Description
The design I’ve created for this competition is a 3D-printed linear actuator that emphasizes strength, simplicity, and affordability. The actuator is engineered to be versatile, fitting a wide range of applications, from hobby robotics to more industrial uses. Its design incorporates minimal components to reduce cost while maintaining high durability and reliability. Each part has been optimized for 3D printing, ensuring that it can be easily and efficiently produced without requiring extensive post-processing. The assembly process is straightforward, with clear alignment and fastening points, allowing users of all skill levels to quickly and effectively put the actuator to use. Parts requirement: 5/16 x 4 Inch long bolt 5/16 Nut for bolt to thread into 2X 3M x 10mm long screws Greartisan DC 12V 60RPM Turbo Worm Geared High Torque motor 2oz of super glue, For bolt to connect to adaptor Tools Needed: 3M screw driver I would like to extend my gratitude to Thingiverse and PCBWay for sponsoring this exciting design challenge. Their support has provided a fantastic opportunity for creators like myself to push the boundaries of innovation in 3D printing, robotics, and mechanical design.
