18x18x36 Gecko Enclousure All Prints
Description
You may need to adjust the dimensions of the walls slightly as I have found that 18x18 is the external dimensions not the internal of the terrarium. You will need to print 6 bottom walls 6 middle walls and then 1 each of the numbered walls. You can print the bottom wall alternate if you want to save on filament as this will be covered in soil. I recommend printing the mushroom in something like petg so that it is heat resistant as it serves as a basking spot and feeding area. I have included two versions of the head off the mushroom. One head has a cutout that will fit a small feeding cup. I painted everything in this set with acrylic paint as it is non toxic and then covered everything with a clear coat that dries non toxic so the paint does not get exposed to moisture. I glued the individual parts of each of the 3 walls together with silicone. This allowed them to be somewhat flexible so as to be more easily fit into the enclosure. For the glass hides I removed the magnets off a magnetic reptile dish holder and glued them to the hides to hold them to the glass. The back top bracket cover is to cover up the holes in the terrarium for cables and water lines. I used this bracket with some thin aquarium filter foam to form a barrier that allows cables through but hopefully not any geckos.
