Description

E3D v6 Print Head (Linear Bearing) with 360 part cooling. combination of remix and custom parts. Originally designed for a JGAurora A3s to try and solve part cooling issues and allow for different print heads. should fit any printer that uses linear rods with a 35mm centre to centre measurement (see pics). if using on a JG a5, a5s or a3s you can retain the front metal bearing bracket. there are two holes in the correct place for the endstop switch. Not fully tested yet. Part cooling duct can be printed in either two parts or a single part. The rear fan duct space bracket is to be glued onto the part cooling duct. This allows the part cooling to be mounted using the blower fan and the rear v6 cooling fan for stability. or if your risky try printing them al as one part (part cooling, blower duct and rear fan mount plate. detailed images included for the assembly. the v6 carriage mount uses two heat insert for the v6 mounting. front blower is mounted with a spaced bolt (see pics) Printing: See pictures for slice layout info, make sure you use the slicers support blocker to prevent trees in some of the holes (Pictured). use tree supports (build plate only) infill 70+% 0.16 layer ASA or ABS Groove mount converted to use heat set inserts for v6 mounting. Fan duct use to model the rear mounting plate, and for design to use smaller cooling fan for v6.
