Yamaha P125 Piano Stand / Shell Build
Description
Built a shell/stand for my Yamaha P125 piano keyboard. The ones you can buy look awful and are so flimsy. Wanted something that looked more permanent and professional. I'm an engineer so I went with what I'm good at and built this up in CAD, then transferred that to wood. The CAD is included in the files. There's also a 3D printed bracket for the music stand. There's a full build break down in the files. It includes a: parts list, tools list, material inventory, and build step breakdown. This was my first ever woodworking project, so I'm sure there are much better ways of doing things, but this worked well for me and I'm happy with the final result. More importantly, my wife is happy, so that's a win :D These two designs were very helpful for inspiration: https://www.reddit.com/r/woodworking/comments/kqpnkm/didnt_like_any_of_the_existing_keyboard_stands_so/#lightbox https://www.pinterest.com/pin/307933693278397530/
