Logitech G920/G29 Pedal Mount for small bass shakers
Description
This is a mount designed to hold small shaker for your Logitech G920 pedals. It should also fit a G29 as I believe they are the same pedal model. I'm not a professional modeler by any means but this seems to do the job quite well. They are designed to accommodate a small 25w shaker for haptic feedback using SIMHUB. I picked this up after watching [DDF Racer's video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wLNhsjZ7wY). My [shakers](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y67PZB1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and [amp](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074H4S71B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) were sourced from Amazon. Those aren't affiliate links in case that matters to you. ## **Printing** No special instructions here. I printed mine using basic filament on a Prusa mk3. They are designed to print flat to minimize supports, with the open side of the cup facing upwards. ## **Additional materials** * 2x M4x12 bolts * 1x M4x20 bolt ## **Installation** Refer to pictures above to see how these are attached. 1. Connect the bracket to the back of the pedal using two M4x12 bolt on the sides. The middle hole isn't used, though its there in case you find it useful. You can use either side. 2. Attach the cup with a M4x20 bolt. Use the slot on the bridge to help align the holes and to prevent the cup from rotating as you screw the bolt in. 3. Place the shaker firm into the cup, aligning the wires towards where your amp will be placed. ## **Files** **cup.stl** This is designed to act as a strong friction fit for the shaker. Mine fit quite snugly but your mileage may vary. A little adhesive or a zip tie might be useful if they come lose on you. **bracket.stl** The bracket is designed to fit snugly against the back of the pedal using the existing mounting holes. The bolts or screws you use should thread themselves. It might take a little force. ## **Tips** In my tests I did occasionally run into trouble mounting the bracket if I went at an angle. Go as straight as you can. Sometimes the holes or the slot don't seem quite aligned. I always got it to fit with enough elbow grease. I suspect I could provide a bit more tolerance. Maybe it has to do with shrinking? The wires on the shakers are tiny and very short. You'll also want to consider extending them to let you mount the amp wherever you like. ## **Credits** Inspired by [Simagic P-HPR Motor Mount](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6469355) by [really cool opotomus](https://www.thingiverse.com/really_cool_opotomus/designs)
