Parametric moog profile eurorack case with cover/decksaver, 60/84hp, 50mm depth
Description
# Eurorack case with a cover, moog-profile-compatible. Features: - no supports print - supports up to 50mm depth modules - any size possible (currently 36/60/84hp files available) - 84hp case printable in one go with 500g of filament - only m3 screws and square nuts required for assembly - sturdy design and a custom cover available for safe transport - printable with 0.4 or 0.6 nozzle - strategically placed vents to allow for some airflow through the case # Assembly instructions You're going to need: - m3 square nuts (DIN 557) to assemble the case - 12 per case - flat-head (DIN 7991) m3x10 or longer screws - 12 per case (I use m3x12, because that's what I have) - m3x8 screws and square nuts to attach the modules (quantity depeneding on the amount of mounting points in your modules). Shorter screws you get with your modules should work too - 8 m3x12 - m3x16 screws to attach the sideplates (I use m3x14 ISO 7380 because that's what I have) - 2 more m3 screws + nuts if you want to assemble a cover/decksaver - most sizes should work, m3x8 min length The currently uploaded versions have a "hump" allowing for some 50mm depth modules - I just couldn't give up on the design or the Disting EX module :D A version without the "hump" is very possible, I just didn't get around to exporting it. TODO / Possible modifications/additions: - other case sizes (40hp?) - a "middle module" allowing for a 104hp or larger case - modules without the "hump" - a stand for multiple tiers of modules - sideplate without vents - pictures of a finished case (I already use two, I just need to take some good photos) - ... If you have any requests, let me know - the project is nice and parametric enough to allow for easy modifications. If you post a make of the design I promise I'll look into your requests - I want people to be using it!
