Fan Shroud for a Micro Swiss NG Direct Drive Extruder compatible with the FanDuct of the Prusa MK4S model ------------- This project consists of 3 parts: 1. The Fan Shroud itself that sits on top of the Extruder 2. The adapter plates that connect to the Prusa parts 3. A small cover to use a 5015 fan instead of the Prusa Blower Fan. **Important** ------------- *Print the Prusa-Parts with 104% because else some 5015 Fans, like the Sunon ones, won't fit properly. The adapter plates included here are also made for the 104% scaling and need to be modified for the original size. But given their tolerance can be fitted by doing some sanding, too.* The main goal of this project was to use the Prusa parts without modifying the models in any way except scaling. **This means you require the original parts called "fan-shroud-mk4s_r1", "fan-case-r2" and the optional "fan-case-cover_r1" you can find here:** https://www.printables.com/model/451500-mk4smk39s-printable-parts I achieved great overhangs with this FanShroud that exceeded the quality I got from the original Fanshroud of MicroSwiss, while being able to reduce the weight of the printhead. Feel free to remix it! Especially the adapter plates have a lot of room for improvement.
