Over the Garden Wall - Beast Helmet
Description
This is the helmet that I made for a Beast costume last year. I was not originally planning on posting it because I didn't really like wearing it in the end. Also, it's pretty bad haha. So, helmet is the base of the whole thing, that I remixed from a Daredevil Helmet I think. Eyes helmet is the section around the light eyes. I made it so I could change it out if I changed certain things about the eye lights. Eyes 2 was a thin diffuser for the light if you decide you want it. Antlers manifold is to position the antlers correctly and connect it to the fan. Mask 2 is the helmet and the manifold combined. You should probably just print this one instead of the two parts. For the horns, I made them inflatable by melting sheet of plastic table cover together in the right shapes and turning them inside out. For the fan, I got a cheap one off amazon for inflatable costumes. At first, I had it on my belt and ran a tube up to the helmet, but that made the pressure less in the horns and they didn't stay up straight. I settled on putting it directly on the back of the helmet, which fixed the pressure, but was really loud and vibrated the whole time it was one. I don't recommend this for a helmet, but here you go. I can't remember how I printed this. I only printed the helmet, so I can't speak to mask 2, but I think I remember it being upside down to avoid all the support holding up the top portion. I don't think there's anything special about printing the other parts. I printed everything in black except for the eyes 2, which were white. Good luck
