Customizable Starbucks Halloween Coaster With October just around the corner, I wanted to make some custom Halloween-themed coasters for my friends. I was inspired by the Skullbucks (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5031509) model, although instead of “Skullbucks” I wanted to add my friends’ names. So I designed my own customizable Starbucks Halloween-themed coaster. I only know how to use Tinkercad, and after watching a couple of tutorials I learned enough to design this coaster. This model has a diameter of 100 mm. The base is 2 mm tall (black filament in the photo), and the words and pictures are another 1 mm on top of the base (orange filament in the photo). There is a blank model that you can customize. I’ve also included a sample customized coaster—if you want one for someone by the name of Charlie, then you are in luck. 😀 Using your preferred CAD program, add a name at 2 mm (Z axis) and rotate each letter if you want to replicate the look. I used Santana Black for the font, but feel free to experiment with your own fonts. I printed with “typical” Halloween colors, and I’d love to see your makes using other color combinations. I was able to print with 0.2 mm layer height and no supports.
