Knog Plus Rear Light Seat Post Brackets
Description
This series of seat post brackets is designed to attach Knog’s Plus Rear Light to various seat post designs, including round posts (25.4mm, 27.2mm, 30.9mm, 31.6mm) and the aero seat post on a Cervelo S2 (2010 - 2015). I plan to produce more brackets for different seat posts as other sizes and shapes are requested. The bracket has performed superbly for me. The magnet helps ensure you do not lose the rear light over bumps and obstacles. While I haven’t used it much off-road yet, it has survived long road rides on rough courses without any issues of the light slipping or falling off. Bill of Materials (BOM): Filament of your choice (I used Nylon PA6-CF for aesthetics and slightly better heat and strength performance) M3 Hex Nut M3 x 6-10mm Socket Cap Bolt 6mm (diameter) x 3mm (height) neodymium magnet Strong adhesive Printer & Filament Used: Printer: BambuLabs X1C Filament: BambuLabs Nylon PA6-CF (with Carbon Fiber) Print Settings: Layer Height: 0.16mm - 0.20mm Wall Count: 4 Infill Percentage: 5-15% Supports: None Assembly: Print the part. Insert the 6mm x 3mm neodymium magnet. Ensure correct magnet polarity. Attach the light during the next two steps to ensure attraction, not repulsion. Glue the magnet in place. Depending on your gluing technique, wedge the clamp open to prevent it from being glued shut due to tight tolerances. Install the M3 Hex Undo the M3 bolt and mount the clamp onto the seat post.
