Line6 Pod Express Two Expression Switch Mount

Line6 Pod Express Two Expression Switch Mount

Description

This is a quick print to facilitate adding 2 extra momentary stomp/expression foot switches to the Line6 Pod Express guitar/bass modeling pedal. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for my use. I uploaded the Fusion360 file if you want to tweak it more for your own uses. I used a flatbed photo scanner to base the model dimensions on to get pretty close. I only printed it once and used a knife to adjust some things I didn't get perfect like the USB hole. I did adjust the model after that, but didn't re-print it. I printed with TPU which has a little bit of stretch to allow the pedal to squeeze in from the top since the walls are tapered a few degrees in at the top. This doesn't require removing any screws or modifying the unit, and conveniently the taper means it doesn't fall out. If you wanted to print in PLA or other more rigid filaments i'd consider modifying to leave a vertical break in the middle back so it could flex a little on the sides to get it in. I also don't plan to use this with batteries, so didn't leave access to the battery hatch on the back, instead prioritizing hiding the cable for the switches in that channel below. Sorry I didn't document the switch wiring, it's really basic, there's a diagram in the official manual. You might want to double check that you have the preset "up" switch on the right and "down" on the left. I rewired mine after I mixed that up the first time. Hope this is useful to somebody!
