The aMAZEing Labyrinth of haunted doors
Description
This is a remix of the aMAZEing Labyrinth, which includes magnetism to keep the findable items in place and haunted doors, which are opening and closing as you move the tiles, because of ghosts, magic, or ... magnetism. I also added all the original items from the original flat boardgame. Also I shrinked the tiles a bit, so that they fit better in your hand. For assembly you need a ground plate of 45x45 centimeters and small magnets of 6x3x1.5 millimeters ... a lot of magnets ... I mean, just order two packs of 100 magnets. You'll need them, trust me. Each tile, that can take a findable item has a cross carved in its floor. You need to glue a cover/base and a top part together with a magnet in between. Make sure you have the correct pole aligned. Each findable item should get a magnet glued in the bottom as well. So the items stay on the tiles, when you move them. To assemble the doors, just put a magnet into the door hinge and glue the door hinge cover to it. Place a magnet into the base at the 45° gap which distracts the magnet in the hinge. It will keep the door at 90° (open or closed). Now glue the top and the cover of the tile together (see findable items above). Put the hinge into the hole and glue the door to it. Make sure, the hinge with the door is still moveable. Stick it onto the base and test, if the door opens/closes at different aligned magnets. Put two magnets in changing orientation into each gap of the static bases and stick the covers on them. These are tiles for findable itms, too, so you should see the paragraph about it, again. Now comes the tricky part: Glue the static tiles to the ground plate, so that there is enough space to move the dynamic tiles between them. Each tile has a ground dimension of 5x5 centimeters. As last you need to get some playing figures, which I left out here. Go see a DnD character RPG fantasy mini figure set of your choice. Pro tipp: Add some color. This will make it look way more better. This is not only a remix of one thing. I had to create it by myself. Just get a drawing of a treasure map, print it out (on paper) and glue it onto 3D map model. In the end I wish you a lot of fun at making and gaming, too.
