MiSide Mita kigurumi mask with moovable eyes
Description
The mask has a pretty generic face. It's a full head mask with hidden latches and moovable eye gimick To assemble the mask you will need: 4x M3*12 or M3*10 hidden cap screws (marked as RED on instruction images) 4x M3 nuts, preferably with small flange or M3 washer (marked as BLUE) 14x M3*10 or M3*8 screws with round cap and flat integrated washer (marked as YELLOW) 6x M3*14 or M3*12 screws with round cap and flat integrated washer (marked as GREEN) 20x M3 square nuts (insert positions marked as GREY) 10x N42 or stronger (N45, N52) neodymium magnets with axial polarity, 6*10 mm (6mm in diameter and 10 mm long) (marked as SILVER) 2x 16mm tubular cam locks (lever type) (!) In case you will chose cam locks with keys, make shure that both cam locks have same key profiles. Key profiles are usually engraved on the keys as a number between 000 and 999 and same profiles have same number, so ther will be 4 identical keys and each of them will be able to open lock on any side. There are two different approaches to organize eyes in the mask and the more advanced is a revisit of my old idea of moovable eyes I used in Luno mask that was made in 2010. The idea of moovable eye gimick is to attouch eye prints to some kind of glasses or fixture that is sacured on the wearer's head and let the mask sit over a bit loose to allow wearer to slightly moove their head inside. In this setup eyes of the mask will moove relative to the mask face in a predictable manner whenever wearer hould like to utilize this feature without the need to take the mask off or use external tools. In this mask eyes are connected to a small gantry that can be mooved side to side with wearer's nose when they wiggle their head inside. Teh large flat scleras act as a guderails for eye pupils and could be adjusted abot +/- 4 mm vertically when the mask is off. to set them to default position you will need to clamp them between your fingers during tightning the screws. The gantry requires some foam to be glued from the nose side for comfort and can not be used as a mask support element - you still will need to use standard paddings! Rear mask side features a bunch of holes connected with ribs. Those holes can be used for different accessories like animsl ears, foam horns and so on.
