Xiegu G90 Faceplate Cover
Description
Xiegu_G90_Faceplate Cover I designed this Xiegu G90 faceplate cover to protect the front knobs and buttons of my G90 while packed for traveling. It remains securely attached by snapping into the OEM side rails of the G90 and pops off simply by pushing on one of the latching tabs. It prints easily but supports must be added under the latches. I tried to minimize the angles of other overhangs to eliminate supports and depending upon your slicer overhang angle settings, you shouldn’t have supports anywhere but the latches on each end. I also enabled Adaptive and Smooth default values in Variable Layer Height settings to smooth the corners, but this isn’t required for a good print. I’ve printed this in PLA, PETG, PETG-CF at layer heights from 0.28 to 0.16 with a 0.4mm nozzle without any issues on a Bambu X1 Carbon, it should print well on any printer. I’m working on a rear cover, but it’s a bit down on the priority list. RoadRogue
