RC Farm Truck 1/43 Using Stock SCX24 ESC

RC Farm Truck 1/43 Using Stock SCX24 ESC

Description

I built this to use my old SCX24 crawler electronics after upgrading. This is a very inexpensive build and a lot of fun to drive on the work bench. I built a wagon for it which will be released soon. Backing the wagon can be a real challenge, but really adds to the fun. You will need: - Leftover RC ESC/Receiver Combo from SCX24 and the AS01 servo or aftermarket servo such as the EMax. Other electronics of similar size should work as well, such as those from the Redcat Ascent 18 or the FMS FCX24. - Four 2x5mm bearings. Width of 2.5mm is what I use, but 2mm should also work. - N20 motor with transmission. I use the 12v 100RPM motors for good slow speed control. Very helpful when backing a wagon. - Two M2x10mm screws to hold front wheels - 26 M1.4x6mm screws to attach chassis, bed, body, etc - 1 M1.4x8 screw for steering - plastic servo horn - Optional simulated motor can be attached with glue or sticky tack - Tires. Rims are provided for LDARC X43 tires and also cheap toy tires found on AliExpress. I used the toy tires labeled as 1/43 size. They have a 15mm rim size, though it is often hard to tell from the descriptions. They are often sold in lots of 20 or more. - Battery. The original SCX24 battery is too large. I use a 200mah battery measuring 20x33x10mm. - Wire with connecter for ESC to motor Source Files for Remix. Many thanks to the original creators.
