Milwaukee drill attached bit holder
Description
Requirements. 1 - 10 x 45 x 3 magnet 2 - Cylindrical magnets 6.5mm (0.25") diameter or less. 2 - #6- 32 UNC screws, threads 10mm (0.375") long. Your favorite glue. This is the best drill attached bit holder you will find. (until someone remixes my design lol) Enough space for 7 drill bits (2 @ 125mm, 5 @ 25mm) Disclosure - This model is based off of a broken magnet. this is the original > https://a.co/d/fyuMdTB < but had broken to 45mm. So you can either break yours also, or open the slot using various methods. I didn't want to remodel while not knowing if this will be a desired product, but I am willing to make changes upon request. Printing. I wanted this thing strong, so i went with 5 walls and 100% infill. its not going anywhere and worth it. I oriented my print with the 2 short arms in the Z axis, that worked fine. No supports required in that orientation. Assembly. Take a cylindrical magnet, place it on the flat end of a 125mm bit. apply glue and push into deep hole until glue is solidified. Ensure bit attaches to magnet and releases from magnet without the magnet being removed. Repeat with second deep hole. Insert bar magnet into caddy, insert 25mm drill bits into small holes. No glue required. Please caddy on base of drill and secure it using 2 threaded screws.
