Canal Hummingbird Portafilter Spacer for Decent DE1
Description
Canal Hummingbird spacers to use on Decent DE1 Espresso Machines - 2mm - 3mm Canal Hummingbird has clearance issues with some Decent DE1 Espresso Machine groupheads. I designed two simple spacers (2mm and 3mm thick) to be sandwiched between the polymer and metal basket holder. This should give clearance to the group head. The 2mm was tested on a Decent DE1 V1.3 and provided just enough clearance using the #4 and #5 portafilter ear adapters from Canal. I have not been able to test the 3mm since I don't have long enough screws. You will need longer screws (M2 x 25 or 30mm, stainless). Printed with PETG but suggest going with something higher temperature like ABS. Glass temp on PETG is about 85c so this will likely soften overtime. Note, I am using this as a temporary solution till Canal comes out with a permanent fix.
