bushnell binocular strap fastener repair
Description
The spring mechanism and related parts on my Bushnell binoculars are missing so I printed a part I could easily push into the resulting cavity to hold the strap in place. I printed this using TPU 95A so I could squish the part into place and know it would hold snuggly. Although some posts on Internet suggested otherwise, the TPU printed fine on my unmodified Ender 3 Pro with Bowden cable. I did modify the settings in Cura: * retraction 8.5mm * Temp 220*C * retract 25mm/sec * feedrate 30mm/sec * speed 25mm/sec * cooling fan 100% Printed at 50% infill for the right combination of strength and squishiness.
