4 INCH VENT TUBE ADAPTER FOR FUME EXTRACTOR
Description
My Creality Falcon 2 laser enclosure wasn't moving enough air through the 3" computer fan and duct. I created this two part system so a 4.9" hole could be cut into the fabric material, the threaded 5" to 4" adapter could be inserted from the outside and then held in place by the female threaded retained ring. Instead of having the exhaust blowing through the duct, I have a 4" variable speed fan in my window which sucks the air out. The fume extractor adapter is mounted near the top of my case where heat and smoke rise. This ensures if my duct develops any holes from a curious cat, it will not allow smoke to fill the room but instead draw some additional air out the window.
