Tentaku Mechanical Calculator plate and backplate

Tentaku Mechanical Calculator plate and backplate

Description

The 2mm acrylic switch plate and backplate that comes with the calculator is pretty terrible. Your switches won't actually snap into the 2mm plate and the backplate flexes against the underside of the PCB. You also get bumpons that you're supposed to slap on willy nilly. So here is a backplate with extra rigidity and support against the PCB so there is no flexing, and holes for feet 10mm feet. The switch plate is 1.5mm but has standoffs that match the original 2mm height so it will screw down to the standoffs the height. I mill maxed my PCB but obviously you do not have to--I would recommend cleaning up the PCB with 91% IPA and a rag as it is pretty dirty from the factory. I printed the backplate top up and the plate top down for smooth outer surfaces, 0.16mm layer height, but you can print however you like.
