Sovol SV06 Plus/Ace spool holder
Description
Just a simple design that utilizes the nice bearing spool holder axle that comes with the printer. I don't think the SV06 regular comes with the same one, so YMMV. I've included the `.scad` file to edit if you want to play with it. #### Instructions for assembly 1. Print both legs (`-clamp_end` and `-flange_end`) 2. Remove the existing spool holder axle from the mount above the printer  3. Using the M4 wrench that came with the printer, remove the screwed-on end of the axle (the flange)  4. Slide the flange end leg onto the *inside* of the flange (the fit is designed to be tight, so you may have to put some force into it)  5. Reattach the flange 5. With the legs flat on your workspace, slide the clamp end onto the axle and tighten the clamp  6. If the fit isn't square (eg. the legs don't sit flat), you can loosen the flange end to adjust   #### Installing and removing a spool To install or remove a spool, remove the screw-on clamp and take off that end's leg. That will make the axle accessible to slide on a spool.   I recommend some kind of reverse Bowden system to feed the filament without risking tangling, but I've used it with just a simple filament guide (such as [this Thing](/thing:5895838)) just fine.
