Our House - N Scale - 1:160
Description
This is an N scale reproduction of the house we live in. I got hold of the building plans from the local council planning department. With some maths and a ruler I converted the plans to N Scale or 1:160 if you prefer. Using Tinkercad those measurements were converted to a 3D model. The dimension have been rounded where needed so I suppose its 100% truly accurate but I'm not complaining. oh and its the end of a block of 3 so I guess its less than a third accurate. I forgot how small N Gauge really is ;-0 Its been over 30 years since I had my layout. Anyway moving on before I get nostalgic and a tear in my eye. To print my house you will need 1 x Front 1x Back 2x Sides - these glue behind the front and back and not on the side 2x roof - the longer tiles are the top, but I'm sure you will work out which is the right way, just remember water runs down hill. 1x ridge I've added photos of the final print so you can get an idea of what it should look like. I've also added the .obj file which is a zip file, just way Tinkercad exports it. So you can mess with it if you so wish. There is also a full house stl file for what its worth. While I give away my time, energy to creating this model which i also give freely to anyone who can make use of it. To this end I’m not in it to make any money or fame, I don’t have a Patreon or buy me stuff/ give us your cash accounts. All I ask is Please DO NOT USE any of the files for commercial gain.
