Whitlock Vibert Box for trout

Whitlock Vibert Box for trout

Description

This plastic box, developed for fish rearing, was named after its inventors, "Whitlock and Vibert." The WV box is a sturdy plastic mesh box consisting of two chambers. The upper, smaller chamber is designed to hold already fertilized trout eggs, which are then buried in the river along with the entire box. The lower chamber serves as a protective space for the newly hatched trout fry.
