Camera Stand using PVC Pipe
Description
I wanted a stand for my Foscam R4S webcam that was simple and elegant for my entryway. I designed a base and top for 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe that allows me to mount the camera on top. The design has a base plate and a cap for the top of the pipe with a simple 1/4" hole for a bolt that goes into the camera. This can work for any camera or device that allows a "bolt from the bottom attachment." Of course you can use any length pipe you need. A little masking tape around the inserted parts will tighten the fit into the PVC. I also added some weights (rocks, sand, etc) in the bottom of the pipe to improve stability. I also included the stl file for a knob for a 1/4" bolt if you want. The scad file is included so you can modify the design to fit a variety of pipes.
