BeQueit Pure Base 500DX 360 AIO Hole Tidy

BeQueit Pure Base 500DX 360 AIO Hole Tidy

Description

The Be Quiet! Pure Base 500DX PC case is a compact case that can only take a 360mm AIO at the front. Doing this requires removing the HDD caddy, which also leaves a visible gaping hole, exposing your otherwise hidden untidiness of wires...and just looks...meh. This thing is just to tidy that up, while providing an element of airflow control from for the bottom AIO fan that would experience more restriction with a plain old dead end to blow at. To this end, the tidy is shaped to scoop airflow upwards so that it can travel into the main enclosure and get exhausted along with the main airfflow. The tidy is perforated however, in the same style as the existing bottom plate (albeit at 90 degrees, to avoid printing supports for every little hole), to allow some of the airflow to escape towards the PSU and reduce the amount of back pressure on the bottom fan, as the airflow is redirected upwards fairly steeply...it's a tight space. It's been working fine for me and looks a lot neater than it did before. If you are somebody that knows what they are doing in this regard, please feel free to criticise, hopefully constructively.
