IFlight BOB57 O4 mount w/Caddx frame
Description
Notice: This is completely untested as I don't have an O4, so any comments will be used to improve it if there is enough interest. IFlight BOB57 O4 camera mount for the Caddx Vista version frame. Different versions are also available; 1) Uncovered Simple Mount This will require the 1, 1.5, or 2mm spacers on the mounting screws. But allows the mount to be printed sides and allows for a horizontal infill pattern. 2) Uncovered Mount w/Spacers This mount will allow you to forgo the spacers, directly mounting the o4 camera, and can still be printed on its side for horizontal infill pattern. Infill and shell will more directly impact the o4 with the lack of spacers. 3) Covered Simple It is a connected/covered version of the uncovered simple mount. Keep more FOD from getting to the O4 Camera, it should be printed upright unless you trust your supports. 4) Covered Mount w/Spacers It is a connected/covered version of the Uncovered mount w/spacers. Keep more FOD from getting to the O4 Camera, it should be printed upright unless you trust your supports. Infill and shell will more directly impact the o4 with the lack of spacers. Based on my dji o3 camera mount, I modified it from there to fit the O4. The mount should go from 0-30 degrees up-tilt. I am unsure if the top of the mount will be seen at the max up-tilt angle. I left notches at 5-degree increments for help locking in the camera angle, but those can easily be removed with a razor blade or heated tool. Using the horizontal standoff should allow the mount to take better frontal impacts. The filament you use will determine your infill, as a lower infill should improve vibration dampening and jello reduction if used in moderation. However, taken to the extreme will see the mount amplifying the vibrations. Playing with the infill and amount of shell will see the best result through trial and error. Using the O3 as a base, I recommend using around 35% with 3 lines for the shell.
