Fractal Design North (regular or XL) taller feet for carpet

Description

I absolutely love the "North" PC case by Fractal Design. It's practically artwork, or at the very least looks like nice furniture instead of an ugly (or -- horror -- gamer RGB-laden case).. but I digress. But the only issue I have with it is that if place on carpet, the feet are a little too short, leading to too little airflow for the PSU intake. I designed these feet based on the original design, and when printed in a PETG-HF (matte-like) black, they look beautiful, just like the original case, and don't take away from the elegant look with a clunky 3D-printed look. Two are for the front legs and the two for the back have a notch (like the original design) to accommodate a sheet metal bend. I am pretty sure this would work for the XL case too, though I haven't tried it. I doubt they made the feet different. TO PRINT: ============== You will need to change a few settings. Print standing upright how it is in use, which is necessary because of the alignment pegs on top. However, this causes an issue with the ledge that the screw holds against, and PrusaSlicer (at least, don't know about other slicers) will try to print perimeters first, then infill. This leads to a circle being printed in thin air and a failed print. So in PrusaSlicer, go to Expert Mode --> Fill Before Perimeters. I also used 50% fill with Grid infill pattern, and increased it to 3 perimeters, and 6 solid bottom and top layers, for extra rigidity and strength. PETG PrusaSlicer, go to Expert Mode --> Fill Before Perimeters 50% Grid Infill 3 Perimeters 6 solid top/bottom layers No supports necessary
