telescope primary miror aperture/chamfer mask - masque de chanfrein pour telescope

Description

If you get 'hairy' bright stars in your astrophotographies, this might come from the edge of your primary miror difracting the light. A way to fix this issue is to add an aperture mask (a pure diaphragm) on top the primary miror. The price to pay is a slight reduction of the amount of light collected but contrast of the images will be improved. Mine simply stays in place thanks to small 4x6 cylindrical magnets. The magnets stick on the metal upper part of the miror clips. You can customize to your dimensions either using the customizer or (simpler) directly in openscad.
