8mm/Super 8 storage box with lid
Description
After picking up an 8mm film a friend purchased off of Marketplace, I decided to surprise him with a storage box for a few of his vintage reels. I mad this to hold both 8mm and Super8 film in the 3.5 inch spool. It works with boxed spools and with spools that have those clip on covers over them. The lid has a recess for a label. The lid doesn't rest on the reels. Instead it rests on the 6 tabs that stick up. This way you can get your fingers in to get the film and not have the lid affect a vintage cardboard box.
