PTT button guard for Baofeng AR-5RM, UV-5RM & UV-5G Plus
Description
I made this as a low profile way to prevent accidental PTT activations on the radio, because I found the button has a very light action and sticks out enough that it's easy to activate when handling the radio. I tried to make this work as a friction fit, but there's just not enough of a shoulder around the button to get it to stay on reliably, so I loosened the tolerances and made it a glue on piece. I used some E6000 rubber cement which seems to work well, and comes off cleanly if you make a mistake or want to remove it later. I wouldn't recommend super glue, it just makes a mess.
