GBA SP LiPo Battery Housing Without PCB
Description
**This is a remix of RetroModding's [GBA SP LiPo Battery Housing](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4624968) for [Makho's PCB](https://github.com/makhowastaken/AGS_LIPO) .** This remix makes it easy to use **603048** lipo batteries without the need for a pcb, I used a 1200mah battery from aliexpress that cost less than 4€ and it gives me approximately 15 hours of battery life on an original, unmodified GBA SP (leaving the pokemon emerald intro on loop and a low volume). **Check the polarity of the battery and make sure you connect it correctly! (check the second picture)** For the connections I soldered two 0.1x3mm nickel strips (these are the typical ones used for 18650 batteries), if anyone has a better idea let me know. If the connection holes have been printed too close or together, you can always open them up a bit with a scalpel or something similar. In case of emergency, you can use the cables by fitting them directly, although I don't recommend it (you can always secure them with some kind of glue so they don't move). **Tips**: Use tweezers to place the nickel connectors and be able to fit them (before fitting them, I usually solder the battery cables first to avoid melting the PLA). Use kapton tape or something similar to secure the battery and cover connections. Add some kind of tape at the end to be able to remove the battery more easily. **(Tested with 0.2 layer height)**
