Case for 10a 250w CC CV Boost converter
Description
Case for 10a 250w CC CV Boost converter with cable strain relief. Can be printed without any support. You will need 4x20mm M3 standoff and 8x6mm M3 screw (4mm and 8mm length are ok too). Case was designed as counter-sunk for support-less printing, but you can use any type as demonstrated in the picture. I've included 4x20mm M3 standoff on 2nd plate so you can print it out if needed, but actual brass or nylon standoff are better. Q: Why the exposed PCB bottom? A: These aluminum PCB use the PCB itself as heat-sink so exposing it is best for cooling. As a bonus the case is in 1 piece. Q: Why the strange cable relief shape? A: For support-less printing. Also, it's at the location cables are coming out anyway so it's actually quite space efficient compared to making the whole case bigger.
