New M-LIDS Counter UAS System!

New M-LIDS Counter UAS System!

Description

Based on the M-ATV Chassis, the Mobile-Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System (M-Lids). is a mobile counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) developed for the United States Army. It is designed to detect, track, and neutralize small unmanned aerial systems, commonly known as drones. Often deployed with the ground-based C-RAM system, it is comprised of an Electronic Warfare (EW) vehicle and Kinetic Defeat (KD) vehicle working in tandem. Eventually, both of these capabilities will be incorporated into the Stryker vehicle platform (I'll design that when it's finalized). There is also a version that can be deployed in a more permanent (non-mobile) fashion, primarily for use at fixed facilities (airbases, FOB's, etc.) The KD vehicle I designed has a remote turret with 30mm Bushmaster and a two-missile Coyote Missile pod. There are variations, but this setup seems to be the most lethal combination.
