MR2 Spyder Frunk lid striker repair
Description
The Toyota MR2 Spyder frunk lid has two plastic latches that engage a pair of wire strikers. The striker parts can be broken off of the spare tire bucket, leaving nothing for the latches to grab onto. This piece installs under the lip of the spare tire bucket and restores the wire striker so your latch can work again. I installed mine with two 1/8 inch aluminum rivets. However, due to the way the part is trapped between the radiator support and the lip of the bucket, rivets may not be needed at all. I printed mine using PLA, but it may get too hot during the summer since this part installs directly above the AC condenser. If it melts I'll print another from ASA. Designed by Cyclehead
