Eyepiece desiccant dehumidifier for 2" eyepiece holder
Description
This is a 2" eyepiece sized desiccant bead holder that you insert into your telescope for storage to draw humidity from inside the optics/body of the telescope. It uses 2x #133 O-Rings (2" OD 1-13/16" ID x 3/32" Thick, Buna-70 to seal against the eyepiece holder tube, and to seal the lid to the cylinder body. It has many holes in the bottom, as well as a central shaft with perforations to allow air form inside the telescope to move into/through the desiccant beads (standard 3-5mm size). You should seal the inside of the lid and the upper inside of the tube (everything above the O-Ring seal) to keep air from outside the telescope from getting to the beads. You could do this with multiple coats of clear spray paint. I used UV curing resin.
