Fan cover for UGREEN DXP6800 Pro
Description
A replacement lid that supports an extra fan for the UGREEN DXP6800 Pro NAS. The fan cover is built around the Noctua NF-A9x14 4-pin fan and is connected via an extension and Y-splitter from the fan header for the original rear fans. You might need to remove the casing to be able to pull the extension through to the bottom compartment, there is an opening around the expansion card. The fan cover requires that the NAS is raised up at least a centimeter to allow air to flow, so either raise the NAS up or replace the feet with higher ones. I recommend adding a mesh of sorts to avoid dust getting in to the NAS. Things to note, the fan can only be screwed in with all four screws if you have enough clearance on the inside of the lid, adding a cooler on one of the SSDs might only allow you to use three of the four screws, as seen in the pictures. The fan cover lid also requires other screws than the original small black ones.
