VSR10 Magwell Gunstand (See notes)
Description
Was looking for a stand to hold my sniper. I saw lots of ones holding the rifle via the stock and barrel, but I wanted something smaller and easier to place. Sure this one is gun specific but the VSR10 is a wide platform and there are many replicas. The magazine was based on the Action Army 50rd Magazines, but this should fit most, if not all VSR10s, including replicas. The one seen in the photos is the actual Tokyo Marui VSR10 G-Spec. NOTE: This was (technically) a work in progress, but I made 3 different models: BROWN and YELLOW is the original, first attempt, it does work and fits(hence why it's included). 2 things to note: first - It was filament-heavy, using around 230g of filament, and second - The base lifted once the rifle was placed down on it. It does balance and works, but it wasn't "ideal" so I kept it and revised the file. Figured if someone likes this style better and they're willing to sacrifice a little balance/bend then why not. YELLOW and PINK: This was version 2. This one again works, and the rifle sits better on this one, but I didn't move the base back to counteract the weight. HOWEVER, this does work and is a better option than the BROWN and YELLOW one (IMO). BLACK: This was the final version. So you may have noticed that the sniper (if you printed it or seen the photos) tilts/ leans backward a little, that again was due to the weight of the rifle, so I adjusted the magazine catch on the print to ensure when you place the rifle down on the stand it clicks into place. Essentially, the rifle will no longer tilt and fit flush on the stand thanks to the magazine catch. To remove the rifle from the stand, just press the magazine catch release button and it comes out like a regular magazine.
