Magnetic 3-inch Hose Connector (Parametric)
Description
I've seen magnetic connectors for ducting around but they are almost always for 4inch ducts. I needed one for 3 inch ducting so I just created my own, but I tried to make it parametric so it can be adjusted to any size. I'm not too experienced in parameterizing designs so it may not be perfect but I am uploading the F3D file so you can edit it yourself in Fusion 360. The outer hose mating diameter and magnet diameter are parameterized, as well as some other parameters. This includes male and female connectors, and a female cap. This is still a work in progress and I haven't fully tested this yet. So use the STLs at your own risk. I will finalize this once I get my needed parts (10mm x 3mm neodymium magnets, 3 inch hose clamps) I personally will be using this to switch between my laser venting hose, my kiln venting hose, and a spray booth fume hose.
