Phone Holder for Car CD PLayer

Inspired by the creations available on this site I have attempted a creation of my own to contribute to this incredible community. I am new to 3D printing and I am also brand new to the world of CAD designing. I have only started using Onshape since December 2024 and I know I have much to learn and long way to go. This is, as noted on the print, V5, (although in reality, it's more like V7 or so, after some earlier iterations deleted and re-done after failed fit tests and design reconsiderations as well as needing to move from PLA to PETG. The cradle is designed to fit an OPPO Find X3 Lite. It fits into the cradle with a little bit of play so you can apply a layer of soft material (like felt, or something similar) to take up the slack and make the fit more snug. This particular design is for the phone itself without any phone cover still on. Print in PETG as my V3 warped in the heat of the current hot summer days here in Australia which I printed in PLA. Dimensions of the phone are: 74mm wide, 160mm tall, 9mm thick, approx. The height is not super crucial as it extends beyond the height of the cradle and is not an issue. The width and thickness are. I hope this is of benefit to others and/or serves as an inspiration for others to try designing their own Thingy's too.
