Inductive Probe Mount for LulzBot V3 Toolhead Fan Duct on a Taz 5
Description
In my rebuild efforts on my LulzBot Taz 5, I wanted to add a probe to provide bed leveling support. I have a Lulzbot V3 Tool Head which has this optional fan duct on it. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3213878 I have an EZABL 8mm probe from TH3D that I want to use. The probe came with two adapters which allowed the 8mm probe to fit into the 18mm mounting hole. An 18mm probe would have not have worked due to clearance issues with the fan duct. The Anet A8 18mm mount was a great starting point. First I mirrored the mount. Then I removed a bit of the mount where it would bolt onto the fan duct. I manually rounded the two inside corners of the mounting points a little bit. I haven’t tested the probe yet, I still need to update the firmware. I am including the modified mount for other owners of the Lulzbot V3 Toolhead that use the optional fan duct. This should work for other 8mm probes as well.
