Pivoting guitar wall hanger
Description
A sturdy yet elegant wall hanger that holds your guitar in style. It is designed to fit electric and steel string guitars and it pivots to fit most necks. Guitars with a wider neck such as classical guitars probably won't fit. For additional friction, I use a few cm of heat shrink tubing (20mm diameter) on the fork to ensure my guitars don't slip. It prints in two parts with just a little support (from plate) for the fork axle. No other support needed. I printed it in ABS but I am sure other materials will do fine as well. The tolerance is quite tight to ensure a good fit. Make sure you have a well calibrated printer to avoid issues with assembly. Mount it using 5mm countersunk screws. Heavy guitar = longer screws. ;-)
