Airsoft 40mm MOSCART stick grenade
Description
This stick grenade is loosely based on the Type 67 hand grenade used by the PLA (I wanted to put something in my Type 63 rig grenade pouches). It uses 40mm shower shells, and is a handheld grenade *launcher*, ***not a throwable grenade.*** This model is optimised/tested for 1mm nozzles printing PETG. These are some brief construction instructions for the stick grenade. No screws are needed (unless you elect to use the screw parts, labelled with “_screw”, which use M3 screws of 12mm length). You’ll need to print two of the securing pegs and the bottom adapter pegs. One of the rest are needed, along with two strips of filament. Be aware there are four models given in these files; two screwless models and two screw-using models, both with two types of trigger. Short-trigger models use a smaller, less noticeable trigger. The instructions are as follows: - Place the firing pin in the firing pin housing (Fpinhouse) - Place the firing pin housing in the grenade body - Place the trigger in the grenade body with a strip of filament as an axis, check the firing pin protrudes ~5mm. I recommend using some tape to secure the filament in place. - Screw on the bottom adapter to the large thread on the grenade body and insert the two pins (I recommend gluing it in place unless using screws) - Screw in the grenade cap to the bottom thread of the grenade body - Screw on the grenade cup to the top of the bottom adapter - Insert a strip of filament into the safety hole of the trigger/grenade body. This is your safety, remove when you want to fire Manual of arms: - Unscrew grenade cup and insert grenade. Screw cup into bottom adapter - Remove safety filament - Aim device - Depress trigger - Grenade will fire - Insert filament to make safe - Unscrew cup to repeat process
