Fingripper

Fingripper

Description

Please Read All. This Is A Fingripper. It Is Designed By Festo And Is Based On A Fish'S Fin. When You Push Against A Side, The Tip Will Bend Towards Your Finger, Not Away As Like Pushing Against A Sheet Of Paper. This Is Useful For Gripping Fragile Objects Like An Egg. Instead Of Having A Heavy A Metal Robotic Arm That Has Hundreds Of Pressure Sensors That Could Easily Break The Egg, You Have This. No Matter How Hard The Arm (Not Arm; This Replaces The Hand) Pushes Against The Egg, It Wont Break, Instead It Will Curve And Grip The Egg More And More. I Designed This Robot Hand As My Seventh Grade Science Project, Although I Got Nothing Because I Am Very Bad At Presenting :( The Files Marked With Modified Are Meant For The Whole Hand, But The Rest (Like Fingripper Modified, Fingripper) Is Meant For Just One. The Hinges Labled 1 Through 5 Are Meant To Attatch From Top To Bottom (Tip To Base). They Are Snap In. The Fingripper Is Split Into 2, So Add Glue If You Want To. The Handle Needs A Spring So When You Pull Down It Comes Back Up When You Let Go. The Base For Base Is Not Needed Nor The Handle If You Are Not Printing The Whole Hand.
