We Needed A Handset Jack (Rj9 4P4C) To 3.5 Mm Stereo Plug. Superglue & Crimp The Sleeve On The 3.5 Mm Plug, Solder Connections, Heatshrink Tubing Solidifies The Mechanical Connection. Updated For A Second Installation At Another Division: Rounded Over Edges, Reshaped Plug Mounting Peg, And A Trough Under The Rj9 And Relocated Wire Exit All Make For A Cleaner Look. Version 2.1 Is The First Rendered View Above. The First Version Is Used In The Assembly Photos. Warning: If You'Re Salvaging Old Nitsuko 124I/384I Handsets, Check The Wiring Of The Rj9. They **Do Not** Conform To Standard Wiring Colors Or Pinouts.
