FPV Quadcopter 250

FPV Quadcopter 250

Description

This Is An Old Version, Link To Latest: Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1554635 This Is My Design Of A Class 250 Fpv Quadcopter. I Am Using The Dys Be1806 Motors, And It Works Great. It Can Also Fit 2204 Size Motors. Fits 5 Inch Props, Not 6 Inch. You Shouldn'T Need 6 Inch Props Anyway Because Of This Frame'S Lightweightness. I Am Using The Turnigy Nano-Tech 1500Mah Battery (Pictured) And Also The Turnigy 1800Mah Battery. The Front Has A Mount For A Mobius Actioncam, Great For Fpv And Hd Video Shooting. The Frame Has A Sturdy Design, With The Middle And Top Plates Having Raised Edges So They Don'T Bend. The Arms Fold Inwards For Easy Storage And Decreases Chance Of Arms Breaking. So Far, I Have Only Broke One Arm, And I Probably Would Have Broken Several More If It Wasn'T For This Feature. M3 Nylon Hardware Is Used In Most Places For Lightweightness, Although M3 Metal Should Work Also. The Control Board Used Is A Custom Multiwii Board I Designed Using Eagle And Made Using Toner-Transfer Techniques And Pcb Etchant. Will Also Fit Any Other Board With 30-35Mm Hole Spacing. I Am Not Using A Standard Power Distribution Board, I Just Soldered The Wires To Brass Strips And Glued Them To The Plate. (Very Ameturish, But Works!) Landing Gear Is Made From A M3X30Mm Screw Put Through The Hole In The Arm And A Piece Of Brass Tubing On The Other Side Glued Together. This Works Surprisingly Well And Is Very Durable.
