Description
The Spiral Vase Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:481259 Inspired Me To Create My Own "Twist" On The Classic Vase. Rather Than Using An Equation To Generate The Final Shape, I Used Openscad To Build A Straight Base Model And Then Reshaped It In Zbrush, A Program That Simulates Clay Modeling. This Way I Could Interact With The Shape In A Fluid And Organic Way Without Worrying About The Details Of Creating The Base Model. The Combination Of Programming The Base And Then Reshaping By Hand Seems To Match My Creative Style. I Have Included The Openscad Model If You Want To Create Your Own Version. And You Can Use Any 3D Modeling Program To Reshape It.
