This Is A 3D Printable Version Of A Folding Tablet Stand. Its Visual/Style Borrows Heavily From The Satechi R1 Brand Tablet Stand Design But Requires Various Parts And Some Assembly To Achieve This Look While Having Some Strength. Assembly Is Somewhat Simple. The Components Are Comprised Of A "Main" Piece And A Plate Or Gasket For Strength. The Approach Is To Glue The "Plates" Or "Gaskets" To The "Main" Pieces In The Appropriate Spot To Assemble The Main Components. These Completed Components Are Then Assembled/Fastened Together With Printed "Pins" And Covered With The Printed Chamfered End Caps. Components To Build -Base Base Top 60 Cents In Nickels Coin Holder Base Bottom Large Hinge Large Gasket 3 -Arm Main Arm Arm Plate Small Gasket 1 Small Gasket 2 Large Gasket 1 Large Gasket 2 -Tabletholder Holder Plate Holder Holder Plate Small Hinge Small Gasket 3 The Gaskets Are Mainly For The Benefit Of The Main Arm Hinges Allowing It To Be Printed Flat -In This Orientation The Hinge Rings Would Not Be Strong Enough So The Gaskets Are Glued Inside. Fragile Part - Care Must Be Taken When Placing The Gaskets In The Main Arm As It Is Easy To Break The Arm Hinge Loops If The Fit Is Too Tight. Make Sure The Gaskets Insert With Ease And Let The Glue Hold Them In Place. Once The Gaskets Are In Place Things Will Be Strong Enough So That You Can Have Some Tension On The Fastening Pins So Hinges Are Not Loose. Insert The Large And Small Pins To Attach The Arm Component To The Base And Holder Components. These (Pins) Print In Halves So That You Can Get A Clean Cylinder. Glue The Halves Together And Press Them Into Place To Complete The Assembly. The Pins Should Have A Tight Fit Or The Hinge May Not Hold The Weight Of The Tablet - I Did Some Minimal Sanding And Used A Vice To Slowly Press The Pins Into Place.
