Wall-Mount Hoist Switch Enclosure
Description
This Is An Enclosure For A Harbor Freight Hoist Switch That You Can Mount To The Wall. The One That Comes With The Hoist Works Fine, But If You Have A Permanent Setup For A Hoist Then Mounting The Switch To The Wall Rather Than Using The Supplied Hand-Held Switch May Be Something You'D Want. My First Try Was A 3-Piece Assembly (Clip.Stl, Top.Stl, Base.Stl) And It Almost Worked But The Time I Took Fiddling With It Made The Thing Crack, Crack, And Crack Now And Then And By The Time I Was "Done" It Was Not Good. Plus, The Switch Hole Was Too Small To Work Without Filing A Bunch Out Of It. The Next Attempt (Top 1.Stl, Base 1.Stl) Reduced It To Two Parts Which Can Be Put Together After All The Tabs Or Soldering Is Done With Lots Of Slack In The Wire. Hole Is Properly Sized For The Switch To Just Slip Into Place. Screwing The Two Halves Together Clamps The Wire In Place At The Same Time, So No Separate Wire Clamp Is Needed. Also, Making The Long Tabs Which "Nest" Together Helps A Little To Reduce The Tendency Of The Print To Warp And Lift From The Build Plate.
