Tilt'N'Hurl

Tilt'N'Hurl

Description

This Is Tilt'N'Hurl It Has Quick Change Motor Mounts. Two Different Battery Bays. A Multitude Of Mounting Points. Integrated Fpv Camera Holder. Lots Of Bells And Whistles. The Last 3 Months Have Been Spent Messing With The Design To Get Things Just So. I'Ll Add More Random Things Later Like Different Motor Mounts. Currently Everything Is Setup To Take M3 And M4 Screws. Needs Metal Tierods To Link The Left And Right Pods To The Common Front And Rear Servos, Which Are Mounted Inboard. The Arms Are Marked Left And Right For A Reason, Which Is To Keep The Pivot Axis In Line With The Servo Arm Rotation Axis. Two Sets Of Tilt Pods Are Attached At The Moment, One For Use With Tie Rods, One For Use With More Rigid L Shaped Aluminum Stock. Perforated And Non Perforated Versions Of The Two Decks Supplied For Your Weight Savings. Plays Nicely With Thundead Mini Fpv Quad Parts As Well; A Nod To Them, As They Were The Inspiration For This, Even Though I Ended Up Making Everything From Scratch. These Models Have Been Optimized To Print Without Any Support Material For The Two Body Decks. You Will Need: M3 Bolts Of Various Sizes (Nuts Optional, As I'Ve Sized The Holes For Self Tapping). Small Ball Bearings For The Tilt Pods (Or Substitute Appropriate 3D Printed Bushings). Tie Rods Or L Stock For The Tilt Linkages. Optional Carbon Fiber Landing Feet From A Turnigy Talon Frame. Servo Mounting Screws. Patience, As These Prints Take A While. Build It. Post A Picture So I Can See. Try To Keep It In The Air For More Than 15 Seconds. Have Fun!
