This Can Cause Nasty Light Leaks From The Top And Bottom Of The Roll, Ruining Several Negatives At The Same Time. I Previously Advocated For Gluing A Small Block Of Foam Onto The Inside Surface Of The Uptake Spool Cavity, But I Find That The Foam Absorbs Glue, Becoming Too Stiff To Allow The Insertion Of An Empty Spool When Loading. This Clip Is Inserted With The Empty Uptake Spool (Despite The Pictures Of A Full Spool).
